Reviews and Ratings
My experience at Hotel Phillips was quite mixed. The location was excellent, perfect for exploring downtown Kansas City, but the service left much to be desired. While the hotel had a lovely old charm, the room itself fell short of expectations and lacked some basic essentials.
My stay at Hotel Phillips was quite charming with its unique character and old-world charm. The lovely on-site restaurant served decent meals, but I had mixed feelings about some aspects. The room was clean and spacious, but the furnishings showed signs of age, which may not appeal to everyone. Overall, the warm atmosphere and very nice bar made my visit enjoyable.
I found Hotel Phillips to be quite charming, with a great location. but service issues really dampened my stay. The room was clean and nicely decorated, although quite small. While I enjoyed the proximity to the convention center and nearby dining options, the service from housekeeping left a lot to be desired.
I had a lovely stay at Hotel Phillips, though there were a few hiccups along the way. The location was super convenient, being just a couple of blocks from the convention center and right in the vibrant downtown area. I loved the hotel's beautiful historical features, despite my room feeling a bit smaller than anticipated. The service I received from the staff, especially at the Tavernonna restaurant, was really good, making my dining experiences nice.
I had a mixed experience at Hotel Phillips. The vintage decor and aggressive hospitality made a lasting impression, but the cleanliness and service could definitely use some improvement. The location is prime, especially for exploring the Power and Light district, which is a huge plus.
